Brett Favre is sorry. To his teammates, at least.

The Vikings quarterback has apologized to his teammates for being a distraction as they prepare for their Monday night showdown with the Jets, according to an ESPN.com report.

While Favre has declined comment on the matter, reports have circulated in the past week regarding some inappropiate photos and phone calls he allegedly made when he was with the Jets to team employee Jenn Sterger.

According to the report, Favre apologized to his Viking teammates at a team meeting on Monday morning, telling the Minnesota locker room that he is ready to "play lights out" on Monday night.

Favre has yet to comment on the allegations and the NFL continues to investigate.
