Bobby Cox managed his last game after 25 seasons with the Atlanta Braves on Monday. Now, it’s time to move on.

Fox 5 reports the Braves will hire his former third base coach, Fredi Gonzalez as their new manager.

Gonzalez, the manager of the Florida Marlins from 2007, was fired this June. He was a third base coach for the Braves from 2003-06 and was a minor league coach in Atlanta’s system in 2002.

Gonzalez has a career record of 276-279 as a manager. His best season came in 2009 when he led the Marlins to 87 wins and a second-place finish in the NL East.
