Landon Donovan seems likely to make his return to Goodison Park come January. Everton's manager, David Moyes, would like to see his Los Angeles Galaxy teammate David Beckham make the trip as well.

According to Daily Mail, Moyes opened the door for Beckham to make his return to the Premier League with the Toffees.

"I hope that if David wanted to come, he would pick up the phone and call me," said Moyes.

"I worked with David at Preston and if he wanted to come back to the Premier League, he would only need to phone me or Phil Neville," he continued.

Beckham wishes to continue his international career with England, and many have speculated that he would need to return to major European football — or particularly the Premier League — in order to achieve such.

"If he wanted to come to Everton, we would be here for him. If he said he would like to come, I would have to go to the chairman and ask if we could do it," reiterated Moyes.

"I'd ask if we could make it work by selling enough shirts."

Everton is expected to be active in the transfer market come January.
