Shawn McEachern Served as Atlanta Thrashers Captain From 2002-04

Waltham, Mass., native and Matignon High graduate Shawn McEachern eventually wore the C for  the Atlanta Thrashers later in his NHL career.

Thursday's The Four's Trivia Question of the Day asked which former Matignon High School and Boston University standout served as captain of the Thrashers from 2002-04.

McEachern was a standout in high school and went on to excel in college at Boston University. After three seasons with the Terriers, McEachern started his professional career with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1991-92 season.

The left wing went on to play with the Bruins and the Senators before landing in Atlanta, where he served as the captain for two seasons. McEachern returned to the B's organization following his stint with the Thrashers, and retired after the 2006 season.

McEachern finished his career with 579 points in 911 games played in the NHL.
