Deion Branch on Particular Jets Players: 'I Would Never Shake Their Hands' Deion Branch didn't hold back Sunday night after the Jets beat the Patriots at Gillette Stadium, calling the celebration of some Jets players "classless" for taunting fans, among other things.

On Wednesday, Branch went on the radio in Seattle and explained that it was just a particular group of Jets players that he was unhappy with.

"I said 'some of them'  [were classless], not all, because there is a great handful of guys on the Jets team that has a lot of class, and there is a couple of them that don't," Branch said on KJR, according to SportsRadioInterviews.com. "And the ones, they know who I am talking to. I don't have to say their names and I won't."

Branch is generally a respectful man, often interjecting "No, sir" and "Yes, ma'am" in his meetings with the media. He's also spoken at great length about his outlook on life and how he doesn't let what others say about him get on his nerves. So, relatively speaking, his comments represented a real outburst.

"A [reporter] asked me, 'Would you shake their hand?' I told him that I would never shake their hands," Branch said on KJR. "I would congratulate the ones who deserve the respect and congratulations from me and my teammates, but I would never congratulate the classless guys on the football team."

Branch also reiterated a point he had made on Sunday, that the Jets were "not used to being in this position."

"Sometimes, when you are not supposed to be in certain situations, you act that way and that is how some of those guys are," Branch said Wednesday. "[The Jets] aren't used to being in that position, and this was their Super Bowl. But it wasn't our Super Bowl. This was probably their Super Bowl, and that is probably why they were acting that way."
