Jamie Carragher will make his long-awaited return from injury on Wednesday against Stoke City after two months out with a dislocated shoulder incurred at White Hart Lane on Nov. 28.

"We have a full squad of players to pick from for Stoke City on Wednesday night. We've got Jamie Carragher back included in the squad," declared Kenny Dalglish.

"Fortunately the medical people were telling him to be patient, but you know what Carra is like – he wants to play every game and even when he was coming off with his shoulder injury, he was shouting instructions to someone at Tottenham!"

"We know what he is, we respect him for what he is and we admire him for what he is. Because of what he is he's got the respect of the Liverpool fans. He'll be difficult to hold back, but we've got to be responsible as well."

"It (the defence) has got even stronger with Carra coming back now. That's a great bonus for us," Dalglish hailed.

Accordingly, the club has loaned out embattled left back Paul Konchesky to Nottingham Forest and youngster Daniel Ayala to Derby County, given the end of the injury crisis in defense at Anfield.

Konchesky, who joined from Fulham after enjoying success under former Liverpool and Fulham manager Roy Hodgson, failed to settle at Anfield and was widely expected to exit. While he is going out on loan for the remainder of the season, he is widely rumored to return to Fulham thereafter.

Ayala was recalled from Hull City in December due to the shortage of backs in the Liverpool squad, but with Carragher, Glen Johnson, Daniel Agger and Fabio Aurelio fit, the Reds have been able to secure his loan to the Rams.
