It looks like Fernando Torres will be swapping Liverpool red for Chelsea blue.
The official Liverpool FC website confirms that Liverpool have come to an agreement with Chelsea on a fee for Torres. The striker has been given permission to speak to the club in West London.
The offer from Chelsea is reportedly worth £50million ($80 million), and Torres is now working toward a finalized deal with Chelsea before the transfer window closes.
Torres appeared in 102 games for Liverpool since his arrival from Atletico Madrid in 2007. He scored 65 goals in that time for the Reds.
