Another day, another Twitter battle amongst popular sports figures.

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban took exception to some things that sportswriter Buzz Bissinger had to say in a recent article, and like any self-respecting billionaire, Cuban took to the world of Twitter to bash him publicly, reports The Washington Post.

Bissinger, known primarily for his book Friday Night Lights, recently wrote a racially charged article titled “NBA All-Star Game: White Men Can’t Root.” The piece chronicled white fans and their interest in today’s NBA superstars.

Cuban responded to the piece via Twitter, calling Bissinger “a coward,” among other things.

What happened next included a profanity-laced Twitter battle for the ages, eventually culminating in a tentative deal to hold a face-to-face meeting in Philadelphia on Tuesday, where the Mavericks will visit the 76ers.

Bissinger then asked Cuban for a press pass, comically noting that “you own the team.”

Stay tuned for the final act of this one.
