There aren't many folks left who haven't yet bought in to Kenny Dalglish's ability to lead Liverpool.

Former Anfield legend Steve McManaman is certainly on board.

"That warmth in Kenny has remained," McManaman wrote on ESPN.com. "Liverpool is a happy place right now, the team seems confident and all the news coming out of the club is very positive. In the past, it was all very negative, and I think the turnaround has all to do with Kenny."

McManaman said that Dalglish was originally one of the main reasons he himself went to Liverpool in 1988.

"Even though I was an Everton supporter … when I was 15 and Liverpool and Everton wanted to sign me, he was the one who came to meet me and my father at my house," McManaman said of Dalglish. "He was really warm and made me feel so wanted. So I signed the papers right there and then."

McManaman, who scored 65 goals in his career with Liverpool, is optimistic for a potent attack in the near future.

"When new strikers Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll are both fit, I think the system will go back to normal and be a lot more positive," he wrote. "The fact is that Liverpool has only one real striker in Suarez at the moment, but once he and Carroll are both available, Steven Gerrard could play behind them and it could be a really attack-minded setup."
