Bruins Escape Montreal for Quick Practice Break at Olympic Center in Lake Placid (Photos) The Bruins made a smart move when they decided to steal away from Montreal in between Game 3 and Game 4 of their first-round series with the Canadiens.

Not only did it pull the B's away from their rival city, but it also gave them some team-bonding time in one of hockey's legendary arenas.

The Bruins traveled to Lake Placid, N.Y., for practice at the Olympic Center on Tuesday, skating in the same complex where the "Miracle on Ice" took place during the 1980 Winter Olympics.

NESN's Naoko Funayama was along for the ride, and snapped a few photos along her journey. The B's definitely looked relaxed on their trip, especially considering their 4-2 win in Game 3 on Monday night. Be sure to check out all of Naoko's pictures at the photo gallery link below.
