Diamondbacks Manager Kirk Gibson Trips During Base-Running Drill (Video)

Kirk Gibson will forever be remembered for his one-legged, walk-off homerun in Game 1 of the 1988 World Series. The image of Gibson limping around the bases will be ingrained in baseball fans' minds for eternity.

Now, it seems like Gibson may be remembered for another base-running clip …  but this time the image is not nearly as flattering.

Gibson, who is now the manager of the Arizona Diamondbacks, was going through a base-running drill when he decided to run out a slow dribbler to the mound. Upon reaching first base, the manager takes quite the tumble, much to the delight of his players.
