Join NESN Fan Hunt, Show Why Bruins Have Better Fans Than Lightning Boston was, is and always will be a hockey town. Bruins fans across New England grew up on the B’s, and they grew up on hockey. They’re arguably the city’s most passionate fans, and they aren’t afraid to tell you about it.

It’s something that is in the blood of New Englanders, a love forged in the midst of long, cold winters and countless early-morning hours grabbing ice time at local rinks.

Simply put, it’s a far cry from Tampa, Fla.

However, for Bruins fans to think that true Lightning fans aren’t a passionate bunch would be a bit dismissive. While Tampa isn’t exactly the hockey hotbed that Boston and the rest of New England is, diehard Lightning fans are pretty passionate, despite rooting for a hockey team in Florida of all places.

NESN is ready to pit the two fan bases against each other in an Eastern Conference final version of NESN Fan Hunt.

Send us your favorite photos and videos that show your fandom and allegiance to the Bruins or Lightning. Prove why your team, city and fan base is the best. Be creative. We’ll select the top submissions and post them on NESN.com throughout the upcoming series between Boston and Tampa Bay.

Be sure to check out NESN.com’s Eastern Conference semifinal gallery from when the Bruins swept away the Flyers.

Submit your video on YouTube, or send your favorite photos and videos to NESN on Twitter with the hashtag #nesnfanhunt. You also can email photos to photos@nesn.com. We’ll showcase the best photos and videos to see which team has the most passionate fans.
