The Cleveland Indians are facing some adversity for really the first time this season, and it is coming away from the field.

Indians outfielder Shin-Soo Choo was arrested after being charged with driving under the influence on Monday morning. Choo, arguably the Tribe's best all-around player, was arrested in Sheffield Lake, Ohio.

Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports that Choo is expected to be in the lineup for Cleveland's series opener against the A's on Tuesday in Oakland. The report also claims that sources are indicating that Choo blew more than twice the legal limit of .08 when given a breathalyzer test.

"We are aware of the incident with Shin-Soo Choo and have spoken to him about it," Indians general manager Chris Antonetti said. "The Indians organization takes these issues very seriously and we are disappointed in the matter.

"We will continue to monitor the situation and we will not have any further comment at this time."

The Indians enter play on Tuesday with a 19-8 record, the best in baseball.
