With the final pick in round six of the NHL draft, the Bruins on Saturday picked 18-year-old goaltenderĀ Lars Volden.

With good size at 6-foot-3 and 189 pounds, the native of Oslo, Norway posted a .912 save percentage and 2.68 goals against average for the Espoo Blues of SM-liiga, a league based in Finland. He is also the starting goaltender for Norway’s Under-20 team.

As the video below suggests, Volden has good lateral movement and uses every inch of his body — even his toe — to keep the puck out of the net.
