Carlos Zambrano Calls Cubs 'Triple-A Team' and 'Embarrasing' Following Loss to Cardinals Carlos Zambrano and the Chicago Cubs have now dropped six straight games after a walk-off home run from Albert Pujols in a 3-2 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

The Cubs are 11 games under .500 and 11 games back of the NL Central-leading Cardinals, and Big Z has had enough.

"We are playing like a Triple-A team. This is embarrassing. Embarrassing for the team and the owners. Embarrassing for the fans. Embarrassing, that's the word for this team," Zambrano said following Sunday's loss, according to ESPN.com.

Zambrano called out reliever Carlos Marmol following the game, blaming the loss on Marmol's inability to pitch to former Cub Ryan Theriot.

Theriot had the game-tying double in the ninth off a Marmol slider after he shook off a fastball sign from catcher Koyie Hill.

"We should know that Theriot is not a good fastball hitter," said Zambrano. "We should know that as a team. We should play better here. We stink. That's all I've got to say."

Zambrano's outbreaks have become the norm in Chicago, and with a no-trade clause on a contract that goes through 2012 (with a player option for '13), this probably won't be the last.
