After dropping four straight one-goal decisions, the New England Revolution got something they desperately needed Wednesday night: A point.

On the same night Josh Beckett pitched a one-hitter in Tampa Bay and the Bruins raised the Stanley Cup trophy for the first time in 39 years, the Revs added to the string of good news for New England teams by playing Toronto FC to a 0-0 draw at Gillette Stadium.

Wednesday's tie marked the first earned points in over a month for New England, which now sits in eighth place in the Eastern Conference with a 3-7-5 record. Goalie Matt Reis picked up his third shutout of the season.
