Some NFL Teams Tearning Toward iPad to Replace Playbooks

The Atlanta Falcons and other NFL teams have begun the switch from the traditional bulky playbook to the sleek and efficient iPad. The Falcons introduced the switch at this year's NFL combine.

So, although the iPad seems more efficient, all the excess apps could prove to be a problem for Matt Ryan and the rest of the league, according to Yahoo! Sports. Film sessions could easily turn into angry birds sessions.

The lack of efficiency displayed by the NFL recently, however, is cause for greater concern. A 2011 NFL season is still in doubt. Unless there's an app for that, it could be a long fall.
