Red Sox Top Power Rankings After Nine-Game Win Streak, Yankees Fall to Third Scoring 60 runs in six games will get you some attention. Along with that offensive explosion, the Red Sox, current owners of a nine-game win streak, topped this week's ESPN power rankings.

The Sox were also voted the U.S. Army Team of the Week.

Although they took a strange path to the top of the American League, the Red Sox are now where many experts had them before the season started — out in front.
