Following Friday night's 3-1 loss to the Pirates, the Red Sox have now dropped three games in a row, the squad's longest losing streak since they lost four straight from May 29 to June 1. Boston still leads the AL East by a half game over the Yankees.

Former Pirate Tim Wakefield gets the start for Boston in his first pitching appearance in Pittsburgh since 1993, when he picked up career win No. 14. The 44-year-old Wakefield can earn career win No. 198 with a victory Saturday night. He will be opposed by Jeff Karstens.

Before Saturday's game gets under way at 7 p.m., tune in to Red Sox First Pitch on NESN at 6 p.m., followed by Red Sox Gameday Live Presented by UNO at 6:30 p.m.

Finish up your Saturday night with NESN Daily at 11 p.m., immediately after W.B. Mason's Extra Innings LIVE and Red Sox Final.

Be sure to follow Tony Lee's Red Sox Live Blog before, during and after the game to stay updated on all things Sox.
