While the NBA's Superman was at Comic-Con promoting his new animated voice on the cartoon Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil, Dwight Howard gave some interesting perspective on his NBA future.

In between questions directed toward his new career as a cartoon-voice actor, Howard gave some insight on his plans during the lockout and beyond, according to ESPN.com.

When asked if he would follow other big-time free agents and take his talents to South Beach, Superman kept it brief.

"Never."

As far as playing overseas, the three-time Defensive Player of the Year said he is keeping his options open.

"Yeah, I don't want to just sit around and do nothing. That's just a waste. There's no telling when the NBA season's going to start, so if I'm just sitting at home and one day it decides to pop back up and I'm not ready, I'm going to look bad."
