Grounds crews are underrated. They keep the ballpark's grass green, they make sure the dirt is raked, and, obviously, they make sure the tarp doesn't try to swallow up the stadium during thunderstorms.
Unfortunately, the crew for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals wasn't able to guarantee that last one on Saturday. The Kansas City Royals' Double-A affiliate in Springdale, Ark., had to cut their batting practice short because of severe weather, and as the video below shows, it was the right decision.
