Bryan Stow, the San Francisco Giants fan who was brutally beaten at Dodger Stadium on Opening Day this year, underwent emergency surgery this week after a seizure caused by built up fluid around his brain.

According to NBC Los Angeles, Stow was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where the fluid was drained and a newly discovered abnormal growth was removed as well.

Following the surgery, Stow's family reported that Bryan made small movements and opened his eyes slightly. He has been in the hospital since March 31.
