Not to be outdone by teammate Chad Ochocinco, Bengals wide receiver Terrell Owens is making headlines of his own off of the football field.

Although Owens isn't planning on riding a bull or riding shotgun with Jeff Burton, Owens has shopped a sitcom show idea to different TV networks, according to The Daily.

"It's loosely based on my life and my career. I have four kids by three different moms," T.O. told The Daily. "It will showcase my skills as an actor, which is something I want to do after football."

The show, titled 8&1, has Owens living with his mother, his best friend, two "baby mamas" and four of his children, playing off his football number, No. 81.

According to The Daily, the show idea was born in 2006 from Law and Order: Criminal Intent writer and friend Courtney Parker.

"If you knew him, you’d understand the personality he invented was for football. I thought the tension would be an interesting show," Parker told the website.

Owens, currently rehabbing a knee injury, wants to return next season with a team "that has a high chance of winning a Super Bowl."

Owens does have acting experience from the past, starring in the VH1 reality series The T.O. Show and had a role in the movie Dysfunctional Friends. It's not as bright a spotlight as a bull ride, but T.O. clearly can't handle a normal retirement after the curtain is drawn on the football stage.
