Derek Jeter’s Pursuit of 3,000 Hits Gets Its Own Song From The Thrill Building

While Derek Jeter surely could expect excessive coverage of his 3,000th hit, it's safe to assume he never anticipated that a pop song would be based on his pursuit.

The Thrill Building, a relatively unknown band, released a record last year entitled "The Greatest Game in the World", an album solely dedicated to music about baseball. Then in April, the group released their single "Derek Jeter's 3,000 Hits" about — well, the title says it all.
