NFL head coaches are a busy bunch this time of the year. They are preparing their teams for the upcoming season, implementing new schemes and, most importantly, they are making important decisions on their rosters. Factor in that the lockout has cut that schedule drastically, and it's easy to understand why a coach may want to blow off some steam after a long day at the office.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley did just that on Monday night, but how he did so may come as a surprise. As ProFootballTalk.com points out, the Chiefs coach took in a Lil' Wayne rap concert at the Sprint Center in Kansas City on Monday night.

"It was good, very good," Haley told reporters of the concert on Tuesday. "Our players all knew I was out there. Lil' Wayne -– our song last year -– we made a video at the start of the season and it was one of his songs. The players took to it. We played it every home game. It was kind of our… When you saw us gather up in the end zone, it was always a song of his. So, I said if he comes into town and I get an opportunity to give him a copy of it and thank him, I was able to do it. It was a great, great show, terrific."

The rapper even gave the head coach a shoutout on his Twitter page after his performance.

"Props to Tech 9 and the KC Chiefs Coach Haley and # 24 B. Flowers for the luv! I had fun tonight," Lil' Wayne tweeted after the show.

When pressed about his musical tastes, Haley described them as "versatile" and even mentioned that he also enjoys Barbara Streisand.

When asked to choose his favorite musical performer, Haley didn't hesitate to put Lil' Wayne toward the top of the list.

"Lil' Wayne is up there," he said. "I like him. He's good. He's good. He thinks outside the box for sure."
