One criticism of the NFL's idea to hold a Super Bowl in the greater New York region in 2014 has been that in North Jersey, in February, it's kind of cold and there's always more than a slight chance of snow.

Well, the official logo for Super Bowl XLVIII host committee unveiled Tuesday takes that possibility and puts it front-and-center. One might say the NFL even celebrates the possibility of a white Super Bowl with the logo, which features the George Washington Bridge and a large snowflake.

Keep in mind this isn't the official logo for the Super Bowl itself, just for the host committee. Still, it's bold to put the chance of flurries right out there.

Check out the logo below as tweeted by Dan Kaplan, a reporter for Sports Business Journal.
