Career Red Jamie Carragher has a promising future in management, according to fellow Liverpool defender Martin Kelly

Last week, Carragher announced that he expects to retire within two years' time and now his defensive colleague Kelly has voiced support for Liverpool's vice-captain to enter into management.

"He has definitely got all the attributes to become a manager," Kelly said.

"He would definitely get the best out of players. He won't settle for second best and I look forward to seeing such a massive player for the club go into management."

After a vintage performance against Everton to start the month, Carragher will be looking to turn in an even stronger showing against Manchester United on Saturday.
