Rajon Rondo to Host Charity All-Star Game at Harvard Featuring Kevin Durant, Paul Pierce Among OthersThe charity all-star game circuit that has kept NBA players busy during the lockout will hit the Boston area on Saturday afternoon.

Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo will host The Boston Charity Classic on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Lavietes Pavilion on the campus of Harvard. Proceeds will support Boston charities.

The event will feature a few NBA All-Stars in addition to Rondo, Celtics teammate Paul Pierce and Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant are scheduled to attend. Other Celtics like Glen Davis, Jeff Green and recent draft pick JaJuan Johnson will be there, as will former Celtics center Kendrick Perkins.

The charity game will also serve as a homecoming of sorts for former Harvard guard Jeremy Lin, who went undrafted in the 2010 NBA draft before signing a two-year deal with the Golden State Warriors.

Tickets will go for $50 and $100 and can be bought at the door or by calling the Harvard ticket office at (617) 495-2211.
