Terry Francona is picking the Red Sox to claim one of the American League's wild card berths, but ultimately doesn't expect his former team to capture another title this season.

Francona and the rest of ESPN's baseball experts released their playoff picks for the 2012 season on Wednesday, and Tito is on the record as saying the Angels will be the world champions this year.

He also expects big things from the AL East this season, selecting the Yankees as division champs while giving the Rays the second wild card spot along with the Sox.

ESPN fantasy guru Matthew Berry is the lone analyst to predict an AL East title for the Red Sox, while Baseball Tonight host Karl Ravech is alone in his prediction that the Red Sox can bring home another World Series championship.
