Prince Fielder's Recent Hot Streak Further Validation That He's One of Game's Best SluggersEditor's note: The temperature gauge is a Bill James-created statistic that measures how hot or cold hitters are. We will spotlight Red Sox and opposing team temperatures on game days.

While Albert Pujols struggled early on this season, Prince Fielder has been fantastic since the beginning of the year.

That's not to say the Angels made a bad move in inking Pujols to a monster contract in the offseason, as Pujols can still turn it on, but Fielder has lived up to his mega deal more so than the Angels first baseman thus far.

Fielder enters Monday's Memorial Day clash against the Red Sox hitting .317 with seven home runs and 28 RBIs. He's continuing to get better, too, going 10-for-15 over his last four games.
