Report: Ryan Suter's Agent Refutes Report That Defenseman Gave Predators Trade ListPerhaps Ryan Suter is open to playing in the Eastern Conference after all.

It's anyone's guess at this point where the 27-year-old defenseman will end up before the start of next season, but he apparently hasn't hammered out a list of potential teams just yet.

Suter's agent, Neil Sheehy, has refuted a report that stated that Suter presented the Predators with a list of teams he'd be willing to talk to if his rights were traded before the July 1 start of free agency.

Sheehy called the report "100 percent untrue," and said there is not a list of teams that Suter won't go to.

CSNPhilly.com had reported that Suter's list only included Western Conference teams, and that he preferred to stay out West even if he doesn't remain in Nashville.

That could still end up being the case, but now that we have a reliable source — Suter's agent — stating otherwise, it at least opens the door back up for Eastern Conference teams seeking help on defense, such as the Philadelphia Flyers.
