Playboy Predicts Patriots Winning AFC East, Texans Topping Packers in Super Bowl XLVIIThe NFL season just began and there are a few frontrunners
already looking primed for a Super Bowl run.

While perennial contenders like the Patriots and Ravens have
fallen to an uncharacteristic 1-1 with surprising losses in Week 2, there are a
number of teams, including the fallen foes, who have great odds of getting to
the Super Bowl. So, as players,
experts and fans everywhere try to figure out who will square off in the big
game, Playboy decided to get in on
the action, handing out some predictions of their own for the 2012 season.

The magazine picked winners for each of the eight NFL
divisions, as well as champions to come out of the AFC and NFC and represent
their respective conferences in the Super Bowl.

Five of Playboy's selections would be repeat winners from
2011, but the two Super Bowl participants would include both a first-timer in
the Houston Texans as well as the winner of Super Bowl XLV in the Green Bay
Packers.

The meeting would be a showdown of two of the most prolific
offenses in the NFL, as Aaron Rodgers and the Packers passing attack would meet
Arian Foster and the Texans ground game. But Playboy believes that it's Foster
and the Texans stingy defense that will come out on top, winning the first
Super Bowl title for a franchise that only originated in 2002.
