Rob Ford Goes to CFL Playoff Game, Ends Up Standing Next to Woman With Sign Mocking Him as Mayor (Photo)

Many people have no reason to enjoy the magical world of Rob Ford. But thanks to the Toronto mayor having a tendency to (inexplicably) wear sports paraphernalia during some of his most public moments recently, a whole new segment of society has caught on to the wonder that Ford’s time in office has been.

The Canadian pol has spent recent weeks dusting off football-themed clothing as he’s navigated the tricky waters of admitting he smoked crack. First it was the retro NFL tie he wore during his initial press conference, and then he pulled out a Toronto Argonauts jersey for another drug-related talk.

Ford finally put his sports garb to appropriate use over the weekend, when he was spotted in the stands of a playoff game between the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Unfortunately, Ford flaunted his Argonauts jersey during a 36-24 Toronto loss — and while a Tiger-Cats fan stood next to him with a sign mocking him.

Ford just doesn’t have luck on his side these days, it seems.
