USC Head Coach Ed Orgeron Writes Hand-Written Note to Each Member of Trojan Marching Band (Photo)

Ed Orgeron continues to build his reputation as the anti-Lane Kiffin.

Orgeron has gone 4-1 since taking over for the universally loathed — and subsequently fired — Kiffin at USC, but he’s not just endearing himself to football fans.

“Coach O,” as he’s known around Southern Cal, also made a point to reach out to the Trojan Marching Band ahead of Saturday’s matchup with Pac-12 rival Stanford. As noted by the band’s official Twitter account Wednesday night, Orgeron composed hand-written notes to every member of the band, thanking them for their hard work and support of the football program this season.

Yeah, we’d say this guy is a bit more well-liked around campus than his predecessor.

Check out Coach O’s note in the photo below.
