MLB: Boston Red Sox at Tampa Bay RaysFor the fourth straight game, Mookie Betts will bat leadoff as the Boston Red Sox take on the Baltimore Orioles in the second game of a three-game series.

Betts has been filling in atop the batting order while Brock Holt has been sidelined due to an illness that he has been battling for a few days now. Betts has filled in admirably for the Red Sox utility man, going 6-for-15, adding a double, triple and an RBI, over the last four games.

Dustin Pedroia will also be absent from Tuesday’s lineup, as Jemile Weeks will get the start at second base and bat eighth.

Christian Vazquez will get the start behind the plate, catching rookie right-hander Anthony Ranaudo. Despite a solid outing against the New York Yankees, Ranaudo is coming off his first major league loss. The 25-year-old allowed just three runs over 5 1/3 innings to the Bronx Bombers, striking out one and walking two batters in the 5-1 loss, which ended his three-game winning streak with the Red Sox.

Ranaudo, in his first-ever start against the O’s, will go up against Chris Tillman.
