The fallout from the video released Monday continues for Ray Rice.

Rice was cut by the Baltimore Ravens and suspended indefinitely by the NFL in the wake of the video that showed him punching his then-fiancée in the face. The Ravens, NFL Shop and Rutgers, his former school, have all done their parts to wipe their hands of Rice, with NIKE announcing Tuesday that they have terminated its contract with him.

Now the video game world is getting involved.

EA Sports is the latest to cut ties with Rice, as they plan to remove him completely from “Madden 15,” Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports 1 first reported. ESPN’s Darren Rovell confirmed the report. According to Brett Molina of USA TODAY, EA released a statement Tuesday, saying the roster changes will take place Friday.

This isn’t the first time EA Sports has erased a player due to incidents that occurred off the field, either. Following Aaron Hernandez’s arrest last summer, EA removed the former New England Patriots star from “Madden NFL 25” and “NCAA Football 14.”
