Brady Quinn: Tony Romo’s Decision-Making Cause For Concern Moving Forward

Tony RomoSome question Tony Romo’s decision to return to a game last week with a back injury, but that wasn’t the only questionable decision he made.

Romo suffered a painful back injury in the Dallas Cowboys’ eventual overtime loss to the Washington Redskins in Week 8. Romo couldn’t make the difference after returning, and one ex-NFL quarterback thinks it’s because Romo’s decision-making was subpar.

Brady Quinn wrote Wednesday on FootballByFootball.com that Romo’s decision-making will need to be better in the future if the Cowboys are going to have sustained success. It’s even more important if Romo’s back injury lingers.

“The entire offense around Tony Romo has changed for the better in 2014, but unfortunately his late game decision-making has not,” Quinn wrote. “Romo will need to clean this up in the second half of the season if the Cowboys are destined for where I believe they can go: the Super Bowl.”
