Sabres’ Patrick Kaleta Misses Game Vs. Sharks After Getting Snowed In

When the Buffalo Sabres sent out the scratches for their matchup with the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday, there was something a little bit strange about it.

Yup, that’s right. Sabres winger Patrick Kaleta was scratched due to snow.

It was actually a perfectly reasonable excuse, though, as Buffalo was slammed with four feet of snow in some areas Tuesday. Some of the team’s medical staff and one of their ice crew members missed the game, also.

Despite the lack of personnel, however, Buffalo still coasted to a 4-1 win over the Sharks.
