The yearly NHL award is given out to the rookie of the year, and a Bruins player has won the award eight times over the course of their history.

The B’s will welcome the Carolina Hurricanes to Boston on Saturday. The Canes only have one Calder Trophy winner in their history, as phenom Jeff Skinner won the award in 2010-11.
