There’s violating bro code, and then there’s what Andy Murray recently did on live television.
The tennis star landed a Davis Cup teammate in a world of trouble after revealing a little too much about his love life during an interview with Eurosport following Great Britain’s 3-1 win over the United States in Glasgow, Scotland, on Sunday. Murray was asked how he and his teammates were going to celebrate that night, and his answer was less than ideal for Dominic Inglot.
“Dom’s got a little girlfriend here in Glasgow,” Murray said. “So he’s maybe celebrating with her this evening.”
It was all fun and games until Inglot actually admitted that he does have someone back home, who presumably wasn’t laughing along with everyone else.
“You’ve actually landed me in this,” Inglot replied. “I actually have a girlfriend who is watching this!”
Inglot later took to Twitter to clarify it all was a big joke, but he might want to stay in Glasgow just a few more days to be safe.
