The Boston Celtics’ latest pre-draft workout group was a lean one, as only four NBA draft prospects made the trip to Waltham, Mass., on Wednesday rather than the customary six.

Headlining the quartet of forwards was UCLA’s Kevon Looney, who checks in at No. 28 on the NESN.com NBA Draft Big Board. Most project the 6-foot-9, 19-year-old as a mid-first-round pick, however, who could be an option for the Celtics at No. 16. (The Celtics also pick at No. 28 in the first round.)

Looney, 19, averaged 11.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game as a freshman with the Bruins.

Rounding out the session were Arizona’s Brandon Ashley, Villanova’s JayVaughn Pinkston and Ohio’s Maurice Ndour, none of whom are expected to hear their names called June 25.
