Eduardo Rodriguez’s Slider Key To Rebound In Red Sox’s Win Over Royals

Eduardo Rodriguez needed a bounce-back start, and he got it Friday night in Kansas City.

The Boston Red Sox rookie left-hander allowed only one run and six hits in 6 1/3 innings of a 7-3 win over the Royals. The key to not repeating last weekend’s shoddy outing was establishing his slider to keep Kansas City hitters off balance.
