TC’s DraftKings Value Picks: Xander Bogaerts A Smart Play Vs. Rays

The 2015 baseball season is winding down, but there’s still plenty of time to win money in fantasy baseball on DraftKings, if you follow Tom Caron’s advice on value picks.

Zack Greinke is the front-runner for the National League Cy Young Award this season, and he will take the mound of the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday. He puts his MLB-best 1.86 ERA on the line against a mediocre Arizona Diamondbacks team.

Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano has a favorable matchup against Colorado Rockies starter Kyle Kendrick. Opposing left-handed batters have a .925 OPS against Kendrick this season.

Boston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts ranks second in the American League in batting average and is tied for first in hits. He’s batting .371 against left-handed pitchers, which makes him a good play against Tampa Bay Rays starter Drew Smyly.

Here’s a recap of TC’s three value picks for Sunday’s games:
Zack Greinke, Pitcher, Los Angeles Dodgers ($11,800)
Robinson Cano, Second Baseman, Seattle Mariners ($3,600)
Xander Bogaerts, Shortstop, Boston Red Sox ($3,500)
