NFL Free Agency Live: Rounding Up Monday’s News And Rumors

9:17 p.m.: Dwayne Allen is staying with the Indianapolis Colts, according to ProFootballTalk.

7:07 p.m.: DeMarco Murray has a new home — again.

The running back’s agency, SportsTrust Advisors, tweeted that the Philadelphia Eagles are set to trade Murray to the Tennessee Titans.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter provided more details on the trade.

6:21 p.m.: The Associated Press is reporting that the Maxwell/Alonso-to-Miami trade is a done deal.

3:37 p.m.: It looks as though the trade sending cornerback Byron Maxwell and linebacker Kiko Alonso to Miami is all but official.

3:03 p.m.: ESPN’s Adam Schefter has some more details on the Dolphins-Eagles trade that’s reportedly in the works.

2:52 p.m.: It looks as though linebacker Bruce Irvin is getting interest from all over the league.

Rapoport also reported that the Philadelphia Eagles might be having themselves a fire sale.

1:46 p.m.: The Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly are holding on to wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey, per NFL Media’s Rand Getlin.

1:41 p.m.: There hasn’t been too much going on Monday as far as agreements go, but there sure have been a lot of players getting released. Sun Sentinel reporter Omar Kelly reported that the Dolphins are expected to make a few cuts.

11:44 a.m.: There might already be a trade in the works between the Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles, per NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.

11:41 a.m.: Former New England Patriots tight end Scott Chandler is seeing how things are in enemy territory, NFL Media’s Albert Breer reported.

11:29 a.m.: It looks as though Robert Griffin III officially is a free agent after being cut by the Washington Redskins.

10:37 a.m.: The NFL’s legal tampering period finally is here.

The league’s free agents can begin to negotiate with teams at noon ET, and there could be some significant shakeups around the NFL. For example, a loaded group of free agent running backs that includes Doug Martin, Matt Forte, Lamar Miller, Arian Foster, Chris Ivory and more could change the dynamic on many teams.
