Tom Brady, the New England Patriots and the rest of the AFC East reportedly haven’t seen the last of defensive end Mario Williams. Not by a long shot.

The Buffalo Bills released the veteran DE after four seasons last Tuesday, freeing him up to find a new home after a frustrating year under new head coach Rex Ryan. His search reportedly led to a place where he’ll see a lot more sunshine, although the opponents will look very similar.

Williams and the Miami Dolphins agreed to a two-year contract Tuesday, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport. And, while no financials have been disclosed, Rapoport’s sources said Williams’ new contract could land him around $8 million per year.

The 31-year-old former All-Pro took a step back in 2015 after recording 38 sacks in his first three seasons in Buffalo. Williams, who the Houston Texans took with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, has 96 career sacks and 308 tackles in 10 total seasons.

He joins the Dolphins one year after Miami signed Ndamukong Suh, another high-profile defensive end acquisition.
