The Masters is considered by many people as the best and most prestigious golf tournament of the season, and it begins Thursday at Augusta National Golf Club.

Jordan Spieth is the defending champion after a remarkable showing last April with a near-record 18-under-par score. He’s a top contender again in 2016, but the field is strong, too, with notable golfers such as Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson and Jason Day poised for a strong week.
