Danny Willett’s Brother Rips USA Ryder Cup Fans As ‘Fat, Stupid, Classless’

Pete Willett might have just written a check that his brother, Danny, can’t use his golf clubs to cash.

Pete Willett penned an incendiary article on NationalClubGolfer.com in which he doubted the United States’ chances of defeating Europe at the 2016 Ryder Cup and blasted American fans of the tournament as “fat, stupid, greedy, classless, b—ards.”

“For the Americans to stand a chance of winning, they need their baying mob of imbeciles to caress their egos every step of the way,” Willett writes. ” … Team Europe needs to shut those groupies up.

“They need to silence the pudgy, basement-dwelling, irritants, stuffed on cookie dough and pissy beer, pausing between mouthfuls of hotdog so they can scream ‘Baba booey’ until their jelly faces turn red.

“They need to stun the angry, unwashed, Make America Great Again swarm, desperately gripping their concealed-carry compensators and belting out a mini-erection inducing ‘mashed potato,’ hoping to impress their cousin.

Willett’s diatribe continues, but you understand the gist of the English columnist.

Naturally, Willett’s piece angered many, including Europe captain Darren Clarke, according to The New York Post. Danny Willett apologized for his brother’s rant.

“I’d just like to apologize to everyone involved,” Danny Willett said. “I spoke to him on the phone after I was made aware of what was being said and I said to Peter I was obviously disappointed at what was said and what was written about the American fans …”

“As soon as I got off the golf course I went to see Davis (USA captain Love III) and me and Davis had a chat for a few minutes about it all. He took it really well and he’s drawn a line under it for himself and the team, so hopefully everybody else can do same and we can get along and have a great tournament.”

Pete Willett remains unapologetically anti-American (golf fan).

The Ryder Cup begins Friday at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minn.

If Team USA fans weren’t already excited for the tournament, Pete Willett’s trash talk has upped their level.

And perhaps made it harder for Europe to win its fourth consecutive Ryder Cup.
