Nathan Horton was pretty consistent during his six years with the Florida Panthers. When he played in all 82 games, he scored about 30 goals each year, and when he missed time in seasons, he still was on about that pace.
The situation in Florida, though, wasn't exactly like what his surroundings are in Boston.
Basically, the former third overall pick was "the guy" down South, and defenses surely keyed on him for exactly that reason. Now, he'll be getting much less attention with so many other talented players around him, and he likely won't constantly be seeing ice time matched up against the other team's stars.
On the other hand, however, the Bruins have surely struggled to put pucks in the back of the net despite their talent, and it's entirely possible that such a curse will befall Horton as well.
So, how many goals do you think Nathan Horton will score this season?
