Trade deadlines in all sports are newsworthy events, but there's nothing quite like the NHL's.
NESN will be covering all the wheelings and dealings around the league with a 90-minute NHL trade deadline special on Monday, Feb. 28, from 2:30-4 p.m. With the deadline at 3 p.m., there's sure to be several moves that take place in that window.
Kathryn Tappen and Barry Pederson will be at the NESN studios, while Naoko Funayama, Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley will be providing live updates from the Bruins in Ottawa. Mike Milbury will phone in from Toronto, and you'll be able to catch a glimpse inside the Bruins' "war room."
Last year, there were 27 deals made on deadline day. Will this year's total set a new record? Tune in Monday to find out.
