It's now official. Greg Biffle is not going anywhere.

Roush Fenway Racing announced on Sunday morning that the race team and the 41-year-old Biffle have officially agreed upon a three-year contract extension. NESN.com reported on Friday that a deal had already been finalized, but it wasn't made official until Sunday prior to the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Talladega.

The deal also includes Biffle's current sponsor, 3M.

"I am thrilled with the prospect of continuing the relationship we have with 3M and what that, paired with the talent of Greg Biffle, means for the success of the No. 16 team at Roush Fenway Racing," Roush owner Jack Roush said in a statement. "Our endeavors with 3M have been successful both on and off the track and will ideally culminate with a championship season for Greg and 3M in the near future."

The terms of the contract were not disclosed, but the new deal will take Biffle through the 2014 season.

Roush, a 13-year veteran, has 16 career wins to go along with 67 top-five finishes.

ESPN.com reported on Sunday afternoon that with Biffle's deal now done, Roush Fenway is now turning its attention toward Sprint Cup points leader Carl Edwards.

Roush Fenway president Steve Newmark said that he's hopeful that the team can get a deal done with Edwards and his sponsors.

"I'm cautiously optimistic that we'll be able to get something done. I think it's the right fit for Carl, Roush Fenway and for Carl's sponsors," he said.
